With almost two decades on air and thousands of hours of live broadcasting under her belt, Zara Janjua has become as comfortable interviewing prime ministers as she is entertaining preschoolers. Her career spans news, entertainment, comedy, children's television and radio.

She cut her teeth presenting national news and RTS award-winning daytime and entertainment programmes on STV. Last year she hosted BBC Radio Scotland's flagship Saturday Morning show. Today, she hosts Sunday Mornings on the station, she presents the BBC children's television series Authors Live, fronts BBC Bitesize English and Poetry podcasts, and regularly appears on BBC Radio 5 Live and Times Radio.

A BBC Radio London New Voice Awards finalist, Zara has interviewed world leaders and climate activists for The New York Times at COP26, fronted campaigns for Liz Earle, Lidl, Sainsbury's, First Bus and the Scottish Government, and hosted multiple learning and development podcasts for NatWest, including its Women in Business podcast.
